       中國民營經(jīng)濟(jì)國際合作商會創(chuàng)辦《中外民間交流》簡報，其目的是在全球抗擊新冠病毒的背景下，讓國外民間組織和廣大朋友通過這一窗口，更多地了解中國和全球抗擊疫情的一些動態(tài)，以及在抗擊疫情中的專家觀點、經(jīng)驗分享、衛(wèi)生常識、企業(yè)合作和防護(hù)物資需求等相關(guān)信息，成為中外民間組織交流合作的一個平臺。簡報每周兩期，希望她能夠為大家?guī)�來一些新信息、新情況、新渠道。愿我們通過交流成為好朋友、好伙伴！

       The purpose of "The Brief Report on non government exchanges between China and foreign countries",  which was compiled and printed by China International  Chamber of Commerce for the Private Sector, is to let foreign non-governmental organizations and friends know more about the trends of China and the world in the fight against the novel coronavirus  through this window, as well as experts' opinions, experience sharing, sense of common health care knowledge,  information on enterprise cooperation and demand for protective materials, to make it becoming a platform for exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and foreign non-governmental organization. We hope it can bring you some new information, new situation and new channels. May we become good friends and partners through exchanges!

       China’s COVID-19 epidemic map

       4月23日，中國累計確診83876例，現(xiàn)存確診1513例。共有11個省無現(xiàn)存確診病例，昨日新增15例，6例為境外輸入。
       By 23rd April, the number of total confirmed cases is 83,876, while existing cases is 1513. No existing case in 11 of 34 provinces. 6 of 15 new case were imported cases during last 24h.

       By 23rd April, global total confirmed increased to 2,630,005 cases. Global total deaths increased to 183,470.

       Global COVID-19 epidemic situation

      （1）全球確診病例突破260萬，死亡人數(shù)突破18萬。
       The number of COVID-19 cases surpassed 2,600,000 globally and more than 180,000 people have lost their lives.
      （2）世衛(wèi)組織4月22日表示，世界確診和死亡人數(shù)持續(xù)增長，對抗新冠疫情的道路還很漫長。
       On 22nd April, the World Health Organization said there is still a long way to go in the battle against COVID-19 disease, as the number of global cases approached 2.5 million and the death toll exceeded 160,000.
      （3）世衛(wèi)組織4月22日表示，非洲部分地區(qū)和中南美洲的早期疫情出現(xiàn)“令人擔(dān)憂的上行趨勢”。 大多數(shù)國家的疫情仍處于早期階段，而部分受大流行影響較早的國家開始出現(xiàn)疫情復(fù)發(fā)的跡象。
       World Health Organization (WHO) said on 22nd April that there were “worrying upward trends” in early epidemics in parts of Africa and central and South America. Most countries are still in the early stages of their epidemics and some that were affected early in the pandemic are starting to see a resurgence in cases.
      （4）特朗普于4月22日簽署行政令，暫停外國人移民美國。
       President Donald Trump's decision to suspend immigration to the United States for 60 days to stop those applying for permanent residency from taking American jobs has drawn criticism from immigration advocates who brand it a "distraction" amid the coronavirus pandemic.

      （1）中國將舉行盛大的在線購物節(jié)以提振消費。
       China will launch an online shopping festival to prop up consumption after its economic growth contracted 6.8 percent year-on-year in the first quarter.
      （2）截至4月23日，武漢約有1326個超億元的項目復(fù)工。
       About 1,326 projects worth over 100 million yuan ($14.12 million) have resumed work in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province, reported on 23rd April.
      （3）4月22日，中國銀行和稅務(wù)部門聯(lián)合推出的信息共享系統(tǒng)將為中小企業(yè)提供更方便的信用平臺。
       More Chinese cash-starved small and micro-businesses have easier access to credit support thanks to the information sharing system between banks and tax departments, officials said Wednesday.

      （1）聯(lián)合國世界糧食計劃署(WFP)21日表示，受19國糧食危機(jī)的影響，今年面臨嚴(yán)重糧食危機(jī)的人口數(shù)量可能增加近一倍，至2.65億人。
       The number of people facing acute food insecurity could nearly double this year to 265 million due to the economic fallout of COVID-19, the United Nations’ World Food Programme (WFP) said on 21st April. The impact of lost tourism revenues, falling remittances and travel and other restrictions linked to the coronavirus pandemic are expected to leave some 130 million people acutely hungry this year, adding to around 135 million already in that category.
      （2）過去五周內(nèi)，2600萬美國人尋求失業(yè)救濟(jì)，這證實隨著新型冠狀病毒席卷整個美國，美國歷史上最長的就業(yè)熱潮期創(chuàng)造的所有工作都消失了。
       A record 26 million Americans likely sought unemployment benefits over the last five weeks, confirming that all the jobs created during the longest employment boom in U.S. history were wiped out in about a month as the novel coronavirus savages the economy.

       4月22日，商業(yè)銀行宣布將會為小微企業(yè)提供更多貸款以應(yīng)對疫情。
       Commercial banks will increase their lending to small businesses with a solid tax payment background to further ease the shocks from the COVID-19 pandemic, tax authorities and the banking regulator said on 22nd April.

       中國工程院院士、呼吸病學(xué)專家、中國醫(yī)科院院長王辰認(rèn)為，方艙醫(yī)院最初提供的病床解決了輕癥病人的隔離問題和重癥病人的救治問題，大大降低了傳染和死亡率。
       The first batch of makeshift hospitals, known as fangcang shelter hospitals, provided more than 4,000 beds in a couple of days, which later increased to over 10,000, admitting all those COVID-19 patients who could not be hospitalized initially. The shelter hospitals admitted only patients with mild symptoms, which, apart from quarantining the patients, also created room for regular hospitals to treat severely ill patients, said Wang Chen, academician with the Chinese Academy of Engineering, an expert in respiratory diseases, and president of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences

       China private enterprises are taking action!

       4月22日，廣州汽車向尼日利亞捐款包括一輛救護(hù)車和5萬支手術(shù)口罩在內(nèi)的5萬美元醫(yī)療物資，以支援抗擊疫情。
       Chinese automaker Guangzhou Automobile (GAC Group) has donated about $51,000 to Nigeria to support its fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, the company announced on 22nd April.
       GAC Group's chairperson in Nigeria, Diana Chen said the company's efforts include donations of an ambulance and 50,000 surgical face masks to health authorities in Lagos, Nigeria's economic hub, and other parts of the nation.

       Based on media reports and information from the National Health Commission, scientific research institutions and other departments, Xinhua News Agency sorted out the main facts China has taken in the global joint anti-virus efforts to timely release epidemic information, share prevention and control experience, and advance international exchanges and cooperation on epidemic response.

       武漢市疾病預(yù)防控制中心，湖北省疾病預(yù)防控制中心發(fā)現(xiàn)原因不明的肺炎病例。

       The Wuhan Municipal Health Commission issued an urgent notification to medical institutions under its jurisdiction, ordering efforts to appropriately treat patients with pneumonia of unknown cause.
       2019年12月31日
       國家衛(wèi)健委（NHC）凌晨派遣一個工作組和一個專家組指導(dǎo)武漢市疫情應(yīng)對和現(xiàn)場調(diào)查。武漢市衛(wèi)健委發(fā)布在其網(wǎng)站上關(guān)于該市肺炎爆發(fā)的簡報，證實27個病例，并告知公眾不要前往封閉的公共場所或聚集，建議外出時戴口罩。
       Dec. 31, 2019
       The National Health Commission (NHC) made arrangements in the wee hours, sending a working group and an expert team to Wuhan to guide epidemic response and conduct on-site investigations.The Wuhan Municipal Health Commission released a briefing on its website about the pneumonia outbreak in the city, confirming 27 cases and telling the public not to go to enclosed public places or gather. It suggested wearing face masks when going out.

       Starting Dec. 31, 2019, the Wuhan Municipal Health Commission released briefings on the pneumonia outbreak in accordance with the law.
